WEBT Student Driven Blog

August 29, 2007

Thought you guys might be interested in seeing my new experiment this year..

http://webt.wordpress.com/

Students in all my WEBT classes are required to participate in the blog by posting related articles, tutorial, examples, etc.   I have 2 sections of WEBT 143 and 1 of WEBT 157. So far the response has been mixed.  Some students are psyched, others scared as heck!  It should be fun to see it grow all semester.

Extending the sky on a photo – beginner level, PSD

August 13, 2007

A simple tutorial on enlarging a canvas size and then using the eyedropper, layers, gradients, filters, and brushes to match a new piece of sky to the original sky in the photo. The final result is not highly impressive, but the steps are well outlined and easy to follow. The students could easily create a better result with some help.
